Graves County is a county located on the southwest border of the U.S. Commonwealth of Kentucky. As of the 2010 census, the population was 37,181. Its county seat is Mayfield. Mayfield is a home rule-class city with a population of approximately 10,024 as of the 2010 U.S. census. The city has been a powerful industrial area over the years, while it still manufactures many goods that are sold in the community.
